Body donations

The gift of body donation is an important one, invaluable to student learning. Human donors are critical anatomy education, used to train our health students into future healthcare professionals. We are extremely grateful to our donors and their families for their generous contributions to advancing medical education.

In Australia, there are a number of existing body donor programs, associated with different universities. The University of Melbourne runs Victoria’s only active body donor program. Our best suggestion at this time is to contact them for a more immediate gift.

The Centre for Human Anatomy Education does not currently run a body donor program, and our timeline for establishing a program remains fluid.
