Salary packaging View

Salary packaging gives you the flexibility to request a combination of cash salary and benefits to suit your needs. Salary packaging can help pay for:

Flexible leave View

There’s a wide range of leave options available to you to help protect your work-life balance. To see a comprehensive list of all your leave options, see our Leave and Wellbeing Workplace Policy.

A voluntary reduced working year scheme is also available to staff who wish to extend their leave options.

Superannuation View

Bupa Corporate Health Insurance View

Our Corporate Choice Extras range with Bupa Corporate provides flexibility and value, with Extras cover from under $7.50 a week.

Enjoy an ongoing discount on hospital, extras and packaged cover when you join on a Bupa Corporate policy.

24/7 access to Blua Online Doctor appointments for eligible Bupa members, up to 6 services per person, per calendar year.
Up to 100% back on Optical, from your choice of Bupa-recognised providers up to yearly limits.
100% back on up to two 6-monthly check-ups and cleans every year, at Members First Ultimate providers, claimable outside of yearly limits.
Flexible Limits: Use the entire limit on one service or spread it across a range of services included on your cover at your choice of Bupa-recognised provider.
Get up to 70% back depending on your level of cover, on eligible gym fees or personal training to improve specific diagnosed health conditions through exercise at Bupa-recognised providers.

Medibank Corporate Health Insurance View

Monash staff and their families can take advantage of the Medibank Corporate Hospital and Extras cover. All staff are eligible for:

six free weeks
waived two-month and six-month waiting periods

Adidas View

Monash Staff, their family and friends can enjoy a 40% discount throughout the year at the Adidas Corporate Store, AdiCentre Cremorne – you’ll just have to make a booking.

The AdiCentre is open Mon-Fri 9am - 6pm, and Sat-Sun 10am - 5pm.

Lexus Corporate Program View

The Lexus Corporate Programme provides a service uniquely tailored to Monash University employees. The benefits include:

preferential Corporate Pricing
three year (or 60,000kms) complimentary servicing
reduced delivery fee of $1,495 (excluding GST)
access to the Encore Privileges Programme, including:
- service loan cars or complimentary pick-up/drop-off during servicing

Novated leasing View

Need help buying a new car and getting rid of an old one? Our novated lease providers can help.

You can purchase a new car or second hand car (subject to approval) and salary package through our novated lease providers Custom Fleet and SG Fleet.

Novated leasing can offer many benefits:

A Novated Lease may be cost and tax effective since your salary packaged vehicle costs are paid from your pre-tax income. (Paying with pre-tax dollars lets you enjoy a lower rate of tax on the benefit.)
You’ll get the freedom to select the car you want.
Any lease repayments are fixed for the term of the lease.
You can select flexible lease terms from 12 to 60 months (one to five years).
Under a novated lease, the financier applies an Input Tax Credit (ITC) to remove the GST from the amount financed. (This means that your repayments will be lower as you finance a reduced, GST-exclusive amount.)
Under a salary packaging arrangement, all finance and operating costs for the vehicle are known as a related benefit and are exempt from both GST and income tax.
