Emergency management
Monash has an emergency management framework in place to plan for, and respond to, potential emergencies occurring. This includes the following:
- A Monash Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) that meets up on a regular basis to review current emergency arrangements across all Monash sites.
- The formation of an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) – a group of staff volunteers that are trained to respond to potential emergencies occurring within buildings.
