Monash actively monitors radiofrequency (RF) radiation levels across its campuses to ensure a safe environment for staff and students. Independent assessments are conducted by RadHaz Consulting using NATA-accredited methods.
Each building has a Radio Communications Site Management Book (RCSMB), which includes calculations based on the maximum possible power output from all installed equipment. The RCSMB is reviewed as part of the rooftop access process.
