Your local HSW personnel are responsible for educating you on what to do in the case of a building evacuation, it’s important that they help you understand:
how floors are cleared
how to report to a Warden, Floor Warden or Building Warden
building evacuation processes (floor clearance coloured signs at red phone points, etc.)
how to evacuate people with Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs).
If you’re running a class, you’re responsible for moving students towards the appropriate fire exit and making sure they follow the instructions of the Wardens, Floor Wardens and Building Warden.

Monash Security personnel are on site 24/7 and manage evacuations after hours (Monday to Friday from 5pm to 8am, and all day Saturday and Sunday).
