Getting help
Monash Security personnel are on site 24/7 and manage evacuations after hours (Monday to Friday from 5pm to 8am, and all day Saturday and Sunday). If you need help, you can speak with Monash Security by calling 9905 5333.
You can also get in touch with the Facilities and Scheduling Services Manager for Monash College (the Chief Warden) at facilities@monashcollege.edu.au.
Keeping staff informed
You’ll need to inform your staff where they can get help and what they can do after hours. Make sure all staff members know how to:
- report to their Warden, Floor Warden or Chief Warden
- follow evacuation processes – e.g. clearing floors or evacuating people with personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPs).
It is also important to keep staff updated on emergency management changes (e.g. construction works or revised evacuation meeting points). The 750 Collins Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) can provide this information.
