Designated Work Groups (DWGs)
A DWG is a group of employees who share similar work characteristics. These characteristics may include:
- job type or role
- work location
- workplace risks or hazards
- shift arrangements.
DWGs are flexible and can be tailored to suit different workplace structures. Each DWG is represented by one or more Health and Safety Representative (HSR) who advocate for the group's health, safety and wellbeing needs.
