Biosafety sub-committee
This sub-committee makes sure our staff is safe and checks that we’re adhering to biosafety regulations.
Terms of reference
- Ensure Monash University complies with external standards, regulations and guidelines for genetic manipulation and biosafety.
- Supervise all genetic manipulation work where the Committee has agreed to act as the institutional biosafety committee for external institutions.
- Report to and advise the Monash University OHS Committee on genetic manipulation and biosafety.
- Yearly submission of a report to the Monash University OHS Committee advising on the workings of the sub-committee.
