Join us for Monash's Steptember fitness challenge!

Steptember, our annual step challenge, brings us together to support individuals living with cerebral palsy, while celebrating our own power of movement and fitness. Every step you take raises awareness, strengthens your body and helps build a community that values inclusion, understanding and health.

10,000 Steps

From 1 to 30 September we’re asking you to step up to the challenge with your colleagues, family and friends. And it’s not just about walking — you can swim, ride, wheel or spin your way to reach the goal of 10,000 steps each day. As a virtual initiative, you can complete Steptember anywhere, anytime.

A great way for everyone to get active and keep our community connected. Over 40 activities can count towards steps – some you might do inside, others outside. Steptember is all about inclusivity.

Raise money

About one in six Australians has a disability, and every 20 hours an Australian child is born with cerebral palsy due to damage to the developing brain.

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance has raised over $89 million for babies, children and adults with cerebral palsy. Thanks to early detection, therapy, research and support, they’ve reduced the rate of cerebral palsy in Australia by 40% over the last 20 years. Any fundraising your team might do will boost this life-changing support.

You’re under no obligation to donate money, and you’re welcome to just participate in the step challenge.
