Evidence review and synthesis
Evidence Review Service
Whenever you want to do something differently, you need good quality information to ensure that you’re making the best, informed decision. We help sectors explore the specific questions that they need answered. Then we look for evidence, decide what’s relevant and credible, and pull it all together to draw conclusions and make recommendations to support evidence-based decision making and action.
Climate change and Australia's healthcare systems report
We were commissioned by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians to review health system responses to climate change and deliver a systematic literature review, a policy and institutional analysis, case studies and an economic analysis, in collaboration with the Climate and Health Alliance. The report is designed to provide Australia’s peak healthcare organisations with evidence-based recommendations for Australian policymakers, health systems, health professionals and the communities they serve.
Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Healthcare Review of Sustainable Healthcare
MSDI and the Climate and Health Alliance were commissioned by the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Healthcare to conduct a review of existing policies and literature, to better understand the potential safety and quality implications and solutions facing health service organisations related to climate change and the associated extreme weather events and changing patterns of disease. This has been used to support the development of a Sustainable Healthcare module as part of National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards.
