Research seminar: To qual or not to qual? That is the question
Please join us for our September research seminar presented by Dr Darshini Ayton, a Health and Social Care Unit public health / health services researcher and NHMRC emerging leader fellow.
Registration is free and EVERYONE is welcome.
Dr Ayton has strong expertise in mixed methods research, randomised controlled trials, health services project planning, implementation and evaluation. Her research interests include chronic diseases (dementia, Parkinson’s disease, cardiovascular disease, cancer), antimicrobial stewardship, patient-reported outcomes, intervention acceptability in trials, and patient experiences of health care and disease.
Dr Ayton is the course director of the Qualitative Research Methods for Public Health short course which has been running since 2014. Dr Ayton is also the Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours coordinator.
