A biopsychosocial investigation of recovery following paediatric concussion: Key findings from the Take CARe studies
Research seminar presented by Dr Michael Takagi, Clinical Neuropsychologist and Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychological Sciences at Monash University.
Dr Michael Takagi is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychological Sciences at Monash University, where he is involved in teaching, research, and clinical training within the field of clinical neuropsychology. He co-leads the Paediatric Assessment Clinic at the Turner Institute and is also a Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist within the Children’s Court Clinic of Victoria.
Michael’s research has focused on paediatric concussion and understanding factors that may predict who is at a higher risk of experiencing delayed recovery and persistent symptoms post-injury. He is also involved in several studies investigating clinical interventions for children who are experiencing persistent post-concussive symptoms.
