Upskilling carers to support workforce development
At Monash University, we recognise that workforce training is a key challenge for the care sector.
Through the Commonwealth Grant Scheme, Monash University is one of the few universities selected to support the one-off boost of 20,000 additional Commonwealth supported places (CSP).
These additional places will provide more opportunities for Australians to enrol to study in areas of national priority such as nursing and health professions.
Monash is now offering free training opportunities to help upskill frontline care staff across key areas of mental health, aged care and general healthcare.
Accessing these courses may help organisations throughout the health care sector attract and retain skilled staff, and improve patient outcomes.
Eligible staff can complete one (or more) of the Undergraduate Certificates listed below with full funding support i.e. no HECS debt, no fees payable.
