Vale Peta Murphy MP
On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University, it is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of the Federal Member for Dunkley, Peta Murphy MP.
Peta was a friend and advocate for our students, researchers and staff at our Peninsula campus, and a great champion of the National Centre for Healthy Ageing. Her advocacy for her local community, her national outlook for health care improvements and better health outcomes was outstanding.
Peta will be missed, and our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.
