Professional and career development

Professional and career development is crucial to your graduate research program, ensuring that you are prepared not only in your area of research but also equipped with the transferable skills needed for success in diverse career paths.  At Monash University, there are a range of resources available to help you develop your career and professional skills. Our aim in the Faculty is to support your career goals, and to ultimately help our graduate research students transition from their research degrees to impactful careers whether in academia, industry, government or other sectors. To support this, the Faculty organises a regular Graduate Research Mentoring Program, and career exploration sessions (MNHS Career Cafe).
