PERT
acronym for Progam Evaluation and Review Technique; a quantitative technique used as a managerial tool in planning and controlling complex programs. Common use has been made of PERT, originally introduced for use in the aerospace industry, in the coordinating, timing and scheduling of the many activities in the new product development process.
