1. an organisation’s set of activities that link the sourcing of raw materials to the delivery of the final product/service to benefit the customer. These activities can be divided into 2 categories: Primary activities that incorporates operations; logistics; marketing; sales and service Support activities that incorporates infra-structure; human resources; technology and purchasing services 2. is a chain of activities that a firm operating in a specific industry performs in order to deliver a valuable product or service for the market
