Monash receives $5 million for mRNA vaccine

Monash University has welcomed the $5 million grant to manufacture the first Australian COVID-19 mRNA vaccine batch for clinical trials.

The Acting Premier, James Merlino, the Minister for Health and Aged Care, Martin Foley, and the Minister for Innovation, Medical Research and the Digital Economy, Jaala Pulford, attended the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences yesterday to announce a $5 million grant to manufacture the first Australian COVID-19 mRNA vaccine batch for clinical trials.
