Faculty fellowships awarded for early career researchers and postdoctoral future leaders

Monash Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences has awarded 16 Early Career Postdoctoral Fellowships and seven Future Leader Postdoctoral Fellowships for 2025.

Early Career Postdoctoral Fellowships support the career development of final year PhD students and early career researchers at academic levels A or B, up to 5 years post-PhD. Each fellowship comprises an award valued at up to $80,000. Future Leader Postdoctoral Fellowships are targeted at early career researchers who have applied for an external fellowships or grant throughout the year but were unsuccessful. Each fellowship comprises an award valued at up to $120,000 with up to $60,000 from the faculty, matched with up to $60,000 from the researcher’s school to provide full salary support.
