Ten MNHS projects receive Medical Research Future Fund grants
MNHS researchers were successful in obtaining ten 2023 Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) grants to undertake a range of health and medical research projects across conditions such as multiple sclerosis, encephalitis and pelvic organ prolapse.
The projects were included in the $229.46m of funding for 110 projects recently announced by Federal Health Minister The Hon. Mark Butler MP.
The funding aims to support clinical trials to test the effectiveness and safety of new medical treatments, including encouraging collaboration with international researchers. It also aims to fill gaps in areas that need more research, support emerging researchers and their teams, and help researchers develop and bring their ideas to market earlier.
