Poster Guidelines
Poster size should conform to the A0 standard (Width: 841mm, Height: 1189 mm)
Poster and speaker abstracts will be displayed in a program booklet provided to you at the symposium registration desk.
Poster illustrations, drawings, charts, graphics, figures and written text should be sufficiently large enough so that they can be easily read from a standing distance of 1.5 metres. The recommended print size for the title is 72 point. Authors should minimise the amount of written text where possible to improve clarity, so that emphasise is placed on important research data and/or stimulate further discussion with the audience. We suggest using 36 point as the type size for the body of the poster.
Posters should be placed on the poster board by Thursday lunchtime at the latest before the poster session on the Thursday evening, and taken down by Friday lunchtime. Velcro strips and/or pins will be supplied for posters.
Example of what to include in the text of the poster abstract before submitting online can be found here.
Abstracts must summarise the main body of the poster, using a maximum of 250 words.
Images, diagrams, tables can be attached as extra files online, but please keep them to a mininum, as there is a one page limit for each abstract, and therefore may not be included in the final program.
Abstracts that are too long and/or poorly written may be returned to the author for further editing. Otherwise abstracts may be edited by the conference organisers at our discretion.
Please include the full name and affiliation of each author, select the position number of the presenting author from the drop-down box and email address of the presenting author, when submitting the abstract form online.
