Captive Service Pricing
also referred to as Two-Part Pricing, this pricing method allows an organisation to charge a fixed fee plus a fee for usage. For instance, a telecommunications company may charge a fee for installation and connection to its Pay-TV service plus a variable rate for usage, the captive element of the service.
