Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Biomedical Science
Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Biomedical Science
If you wish to gain a solid foundation in a fundamental science and expand this with biomedical sciences, then this course is for you.
Science majors and minors
This course gives you the best of both worlds - the knowledge and skills of the applied aspects of Biomedical Science and the opportunity to take complementary Science studies of your choosing. You have the option to supplement your biomedical component by choosing up to two of 17 Science areas (e.g. one major and one minor).*
You could major in zoology to study wildlife diseases and their impact on public health, or choose ecology and conservation biology to explore how environmental changes influence disease and ecosystem health. If you’re interested in pharmaceutical development, toxicology, or advancing medical research through chemical innovation, then chemistry could be the ideal choice
If you are interested in studying psychology, this degree is not APAC accredited.
*Please note you are only able to select majors and minors from those listed above. You are unable to select a biomedical science major as these topics will be covered as part of the Biomedical Science component.
