Viscosity

Viscosity is the degree to which a fluid resists flow under an applied force. It describes the internal friction of a moving fluid.
The MacFarlane group have a high quality rolling ball viscosity meter. The Lovis 2000M supplied by Anton Parr determines the dynamic and kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque liquids fully automatically. It is based on the rolling/falling ball principle (DIN 53015 and ISO 12058) and ideal for the measurement of low viscosity substances.
