Monash has six Australian campuses, and two city offices, in Melbourne.

Berwick

Courses are available through the faculties of:

  • Arts
  • Business and Economics
  • Information Technology

Berwick campus offers courses in arts, communication, business, tourism, multimedia and multimedia computing. Berwick campus is especially well equipped with technologically advanced facilities. The university's School of Multimedia Systems is located at Berwick.

As a Berwick student, you will enjoy an intimate university campus, with the benefits of a large, well-established university.

Caulfield

As the second largest Monash campus, Caulfield features an extensive range of visual arts, educational and sporting facilities, and has well-established links with industry, government and the local community.

Within Australia, Caulfield campus has a fine reputation for providing outstanding training for senior business people.

Trains, trams and buses service Caulfield regularly and there is a free intercampus bus that links Caulfield with the Clayton campus.

Clayton

Clayton is the original Monash campus and the largest with eight of the ten Monash faculties offering programs there.

Clayton offers a rich array of sporting, cultural and educational events and facilities. It exhibits all the energy you would expect from a large Australian university campus and you will be struck by its strong cosmopolitan flavour.

Clayton is a major focal point for social and sporting activities, with many clubs and organisations, as well as banks, movie theatres, live theatres, coffee shops, restaurants and shops.

Gippsland

Gippsland campus offers a supportive and caring learning environment. It is located in the peaceful surrounds of a regional town some 170 kilometres from the city of Melbourne. It provides an experience of life in regional Australia.

The Australian Good Universities Guide awarded Gippsland campus a top rating for ‘total graduate outcomes’ and ‘electronic student support’.
 
For both living and studying, at Gippsland, you can enjoy a low-cost environment. There are numerous outdoor recreation opportunities. Off campus activities include winter skiing and snowboarding less than an hour to the north. There is swimming and boating less than an hour to the south. Nearby, there is trekking and climbing in rugged national parks, and an excellent golf course. On campus, there is a fully equipped recreation centre.

Parkville

Courses are available through the faculty of:

Monash Pharmacy is the only faculty in the city of Melbourne that offers degrees in pharmacy. It is also the only faculty in Australia that offers a joint degree in pharmacy and commerce, and a degree in formulation science.

Monash Pharmacy, also known as the Victorian College of Pharmacy, plays a leading role in teaching and research in the pharmaceutical sciences within Australia.

The Parkville campus is just three kilometres from the centre of Melbourne and has many restaurants, shops, parks and recreational facilities nearby.

Peninsula

With a strong track record of multidisciplinary courses, specialist research and community interaction, Peninsula campus provides a caring and supportive learning environment for its students.

Many overseas students particularly like the fact that Peninsula offers a summer semester for the faculties of Business and Economics and Information Technology. With the additional semester, you are able to accelerate your studies if you want to.

As one of the smaller Monash campuses, Peninsula is located close to the shores of Port Phillip Bay, near the renowned Mornington Peninsula. This is a region that boasts picturesque beaches, popular wineries and open countryside.

Monash's International campuses

Malaysia

Courses are available through the faculties of:

Malaysia campus has modern teaching and learning resources, including multimedia-equipped classrooms, a well-developed library, and up-to-date engineering, science and computing laboratories.

It is located in Subang Jaya, a commercial and residential hub about 18 kilometres from central Kuala Lumpur. It is a campus that offers a very affordable opportunity to gain a Monash qualification.

Students have personal password access, via the Internet, to course materials and extensive additional library resources at Monash in Australia.

South Africa

Monash South Africa offers a modern campus with advanced facilities, in an unspoilt and secure area of the Gauteng province. Small classes, a truly multicultural community and extensive IT support are all features of Monash South Africa.

The campus has residential facilities where students from southern Africa and all around the world are able to mix and study together in a particularly friendly atmosphere.


South Africa, the newest international Monash campus, is situated on 100 hectares of land, 20 kilometers north-west of Johannesburg.

Monash University Centre, Prato

The Monash Centre in Prato, approximately 20 minutes train ride from Florence, provides opportunities for:

The Monash building in Prato is a beautiful 18th century Palazzo, surrounded by medieval towers.

The Monash Centre has access to nearby student accommodation. The Centre is located near distinguished European and North American universities that run undergraduate and research programs in and around Florence.
