Overflow parking available at 264 Ferntree Gully Road

To support increased parking demand during peak periods, Monash University has secured a new overflow parking facility at 264 Ferntree Gully Road, Notting Hill – a five-minute drive from the Clayton campus.

This car park, located next to the Notting Hill Hotel, will serve as a dedicated overflow facility during peak periods for the remainder of 2025 and throughout 2026, including:

• Semester commencements (the first four weeks)
• Graduation periods

It offers a free, reliable and consistent parking option for Monash staff and students during busy times.

Graduation period

The facility will be in use during the first four weeks of semester two, from Tuesday 9 September to Monday 22 September.

If you plan to arrive on campus after 11am, we recommend parking at this location to save time searching for a parking spot.

Where to park

The free parking spaces are located on level 3 (rooftop level). Stairs are accessible from this level to reach the shuttle bus stop.

Shuttle bus transfers

A shuttle bus will run between the Clayton campus bus interchange and OMNICO Business Centre to ensure easy access to and from campus.

• Operating days: Monday to Thursday
• Dates: Tuesday 9 September to Monday 22 September
• Frequency: Every 20 minutes
• Operating hours: 9.05am to 6.15pm

Note: Shuttle frequency may be adjusted based on demand.

Shuttle bus pick up and drop-off locations

• OMNICO Business Centre: 270 Ferntree Gully Road, Notting Hill (near the overflow car park, see map above)
  • The shuttle bus stop is located in the OMNICO Business Centre parking area, at 270 Ferntree Gully Road.
  • Follow signage for parking and shuttle bus locations.
• Clayton campus: Outside New Horizons, 20 Research Way
