Monash University recognised for promoting equality and inclusion
Monash University has been recognised for its efforts in reducing inequalities through initiatives aimed at promoting Indigenous employment and LGBTIQA+ workplace equality:

- The University received its second SAGE Cygnet Award for reducing barriers to Indigenous employment by appointing Indigenous staff in leadership roles and creating diverse employment pathways, including an Indigenous Graduate Program.
- Monash was awarded Gold employer recognition for LGBTIQA+ workplace equality at the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) awards, highlighting its commitment to fostering an inclusive environment with initiatives like gender affirmation leave and comprehensive guidelines for workplace gender affirmation plans.
