Kate Torney named new Director of the Constructive Institute Asia Pacific

Former ABC News Director Kate Torney has been appointed as the Director of the Constructive Institute Asia Pacific in the Faculty of Arts at Monash University. She will also hold a Professorship of Practice in the School of Media, Film and Journalism.

The Constructive Institute aims to counter misinformation and disinformation, fostering integrity in journalism and improving public discourse. This initiative addresses the challenges of misinformation, supporting democracy.
