Strengthening governance at Monash

Monash University is advancing risk management and implementing new strategies to support staff:

• A new Group Risk Management Framework and Group Risk Management and Compliance Policy Suite was launched to enhance risk management maturity, defining roles and responsibilities and establishing a consistent approach to managing risk and compliance across all operations.
• The Safer Community Unit provides guidance and risk management strategies to minimise harm from persistent complainant behaviour, supporting staff wellbeing and mental health through resources like the Monash Employee Assistance Program, and offering skill development sessions for staff.
