The report identifies critical issues such as information bottlenecks, inadequate resources, and a lack of commitment to FOI principles, and proposes significant reforms to improve transparency and accountability.
The findings highlight the need for adequate funding, legislative changes, and increased engagement from government ministers, to enhance FOI processes and foster a healthier democratic environment.
