Monash Recharge and the Safer Community Unit initiatives focus on enhancing student well-being and academic support across all Victorian campuses, promoting mental and physical health, and providing resources for staff to assist students with mental health concerns:

Monash University Malaysia hosted the Wellbeing Fiesta 2024, a three-day event from 20 to 22 August 2024, to promote wellbeing and mental health awareness. The event included forums, activities, and experiences aimed at creating a healthier work environment. Key participants included Janice Wong, Director of Human Resources, and Professor Dato’ Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman, President & Pro Vice-Chancellor.
The Fiesta featured health screenings, consultations, and activities like yoga and Zumba, emphasising the importance of mental health and nutrition. The event reflects Monash's commitment to staff wellbeing and marks the start of future initiatives.
Monash University, led by Associate Professor Ines Rio, Chief Medical Officer, offered a free flu vaccination program for 2024 to all staff and Higher Degree Research students. The program, running from April 10 to June 4, 2024, aims to combat the flu by providing vaccines targeting four prevalent flu strains. The initiative is crucial for reducing flu transmission, especially to vulnerable groups, and is available across Monash's Australian campuses.

Monash University participated in STEPtember, a fundraising exercise challenge organised by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
The event aims to raise funds for research, treatment, and services to improve the lives of people with cerebral palsy. The challenge encourages participants to engage in various physical activities to reach daily step goals,
