Monash celebrates International Women's Day 2024

International Women's Day 2024 was celebrated at Monash University with events focusing on investing in women entrepreneurs and financial empowerment, highlighting the importance of gender equity and diverse voices:

• An event hosted by Professor Lynette Russell, featuring Sheena Watt MP, emphasised gender equity in entrepreneurship and the prevention of gender-based violence, with contributions from the Monash Indigenous Studies Centre.



• The International Women's Day Forum at Monash University Malaysia focused on 'Women and Wealth,' promoting financial literacy and empowerment, with insights from speakers like Vimala Suppiah and Michelle Chan, supported by the Women's Empowerment Network, Human Resources, and the School of Business.
