Law selfhood and feminist philosophy

Associate Professor Janice Richardson from Monash Law's Feminist Legal Studies Group has published a book titled 'Law, Selfhood and Feminist Philosophy: Monstrous Aberrations' with Routledge. The book explores the intersection of law, feminism, and philosophy, analyzing how certain bodies and 'selves' are perceived as deviations from societal norms.
It is divided into three sections, focusing on relational ontologies, feminist engagements with social contract theorists, and the application of these insights to privacy law and 'wrongful birth' cases. This work contributes to a deeper understanding of law through contemporary feminist philosophy.
