Experience Monash Sport

Monash Sport one month free trial

To celebrate the completion of renovations and improvements across all Monash Sport health, fitness and aquatic facilities, members of the Monash community can now take advantage of a special offer.

Students, staff and members of the general public are invited to experience these new facilities with no joining fees and a free first month.

Director of Monash Sport, Martin Doulton, said this is the perfect opportunity to build, maintain or increase your fitness level.

“The loss of daylight savings has no bearing with the help of the conveniently located new and improved on-campus Health and Fitness Centres,” Mr Doulton said.

For those located near the Peninsula campus, the new $12.8 million Monash Peninsula Activity and Recreation Centre (MPARC) is now open. The Caulfield Health and Fitness Centre has been expanded to twice the size with the addition of new equipment and the Clayton Sports Precinct has a suit of refurbished activities.

These include the newly retiled Doug Ellis Swimming Pool, a refurbished fitness centre and resurfaced multi-sport courts, ensuring Monash Sport remains the centre of health and active lifestyles at the University.

“To help you on your path to a healthy lifestyle, your Monash Sport membership will allow you to experience unrivalled service that includes a free member joining gift, fitness assessments and unlimited fitness programs designed to get you started,” Mr Doulton said.

Monash Sport also offers free fitness testing to measure improvements and free member seminars from industry experts.

Seven day free trials are now available online for the University’s Clayton, Caulfield and Peninsula campuses. People can then redeem their one free month when taking out a direct debit or twelve month membership at Monash Sport service desks or online.

The one free month and no joining fees offer is valid between 16 April – 11 May 2012. For further information please visit the Experience Monash Sport site.
