Professional Conduct at Staff Events
As the end of year draws closer and end of year celebration events approach it is important to be conscious of the University’s expectations regarding professional conduct.
One of the characteristics of Monash University is that it is a great place to work and study. As such it is important that we ensure that all staff feel included and respected at any work-related social event.
The University’s ethics statement reflects the desire for staff behaviour to be guided by respect for the dignity and rights of all individuals, and the professional conduct policies and procedures support this in practice.
If you are participating in staff events prior to the Christmas shutdown, the University seeks your co-operation in upholding the friendly and respectful character of Monash University.
The staff in Monash HR wish everyone an enjoyable end of year celebrations with your colleagues, and a happy and safe holiday break.
