Monash Brand Refresh roadshow

brand refresh

You've heard about the University’s brand refresh. Now you can join us during the Monash Brand Refresh roadshow to preview the changes, find out what they mean for Monash and how you can play your part in rolling out the new Monash voice and visual identity.

In response to changing environments and direction, Strategic Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment has spent the past six months putting together the new brand suite.

Chief Marketing Officer, Margot Burke, said the refresh leverages existing Monash brand equity while expanding the look, feel and messaging.

“Monash is all about making a bigger impact,” Ms Burke said.

“This brand refresh is a reminder of our status as a large international university headquartered in Australia. We help our graduates attain a bigger world view.  We prepare graduates so they can have a bigger personal life. And make a bigger contribution to their community. We want our research to make a bigger difference to the challenges of the era.

“We also want to highlight our unique selling points, such as our size. We want to communicate the benefits of our scale, such as more opportunities for research collaboration, more choice of campus and course, international insights, global participation and increased mobility for students.”

Changes to the brand elements have been finalised, and now comes the hard part – refreshing the collateral. The biggest project will be re-skinning the website, which is set for early 2016.

All staff are welcome to attend the many general workshops and specific presentations we’re running ahead of the refresh.

Registrations are necessary as places are limited. Register your attendance for one of the five available Monash Brand Refresh preview roadshow sessions.
