New travel management system with Concur

Concur

The University’s new travel management system (TMS) will be launched tomorrow, 5 December 2013.

The new Concur TMS brings significant benefits for all staff involved with travel, in line with the University’s continuing goal to reduce administrative burden and cut red tape.

Access the system from ‘Online Systems’ on the my.monash page by clicking on the 'Concur Travel and Expense Management' link. To help you get started using the new system, interactive online training and Quick Reference Guides for the new modules can be found on the Concur Travel Training and Support page.

From Thursday 5 December 2013

  • The new system goes live – now you only need to go to one system for travel approvals, travel bookings and expense management.
  • Campus Travel will start taking travel bookings.
  • HRG will no longer take travel bookings.
  • The Serko online booking tool will no longer be available.

From Monday 9 December 2013

  • The SAP Travel Management System in ESS will no longer be available for new requests. All new travel requests are to be raised in the Request module of the Concur Travel and Expense management system.
  • Any approval already raised within the TMS/ESS will still progress, with all existing data continuing to be available to view.
  • In ESS Leave - Type of Leave, selecting 'Conference-International and Conference-Domestic' will no longer be necessary, as these are now incorporated within Concur Request.
