Courses include Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV and Diploma of Leadership and Management, Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting, and Diploma of Accounting, plus many more.
Vocational short courses include Professional Business Writing, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, The Adobe Suite, MYOB, SPSS, Event Management and Public Speaking.
"Whether it is gaining more experience and knowledge for your current role or seeking a promotion, a Nationally Recognised qualification can help you reach your goals," said Rebecca Redfern, RTO Director, Monash Short Courses.
Monash staff member, Eleonora Karakitsios, the Operation Officer Clayton, working for Monash Residential Services Campus Community Division, recently undertook a short course at Clayton and found it hugely beneficial.
"I facilitate and supervise cleaning contractors and maintenance staff at the Urban Community and... last year I signed up to do a short course in front line management," said Ms Karakitsios
"We were expected to attend 12, two hour sessions spread across the year and complete assessment tasks on-line via Moodle, outside of the classes. I found this course benefited me in a way that I am now better skilled at facilitating functions at our locations and I understand the processes, policies and procedures that are required for safety in our urban community.'
Ms Karakitsios says she “would definitely recommend” a short course at Monash Short Courses, “as the support I received was tremendous and the course itself was very informative."
Ms Redfern says: "the Clayton-based courses are hands-on with practical tasks to ensure you learn the ins and outs of these professional fields. Our trainers have extensive experience and knowledge in their field of expertise along with a passion to help others continue to grow and learn."
