2026 VCE History: Revolution
This VCE History revision session is divided into two sessions.
Morning Session: Historical Thinking Skills and Writing
- Develop key historical thinking skills, including cause and consequence, continuity and change, and significance.
- Learn how to apply knowledge in written responses.
- Review source analysis and essay structures.
- Enhance historical vocabulary and writing sophistication.
- Gain practical strategies for approaching and succeeding in the VCE History exam.
Afternoon: Content Revision
- Summaries of the historical narrative of each revolution.
- Revising and using specific historical evidence.
- Revising and using historical perspectives and interpretations effectively.
- Advice on general revision techniques for exam preparation.
All sessions will be interactive lectures with activities, plus printed resources will be available.
This session is presented by Emily, a history teacher and Head of Junior School at Box Hill High School.
