Feminist Acts, an eleven-episode research-based podcast that comes from the Monash Law-led book, The Feminist Legislation Project: Rewriting Laws for Gender-Based Justice, will launch in August 2026.

The project is produced by Associate Professor Becky Batagol and funded by the Monash University Research Talent Accelerator, part of the Monash University Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Enterprise portfolio.

The event will be hosted by the Monash Law Feminist Legal Studies group and will discuss the Victorian Charter of Rights and Responsibilities and repeal provisions which undermine gender and race equality, while also introducing new rights and embedding a gender perspective into the examination of the scope of rights.
