Understanding healthy work

As a leader, it is important to ensure that your staff have a healthy work environment as you are responsible for your team. You may wish to use the checklists provided within this page to identify areas of strength and focus at the individual, team and workplace levels to enable healthy work.

Supporting staff individually

To lead a healthy workplace, it is important to ensure that your staff members are motivated, feel safe, are encouraged to keep learning; have a focus on health and wellbeing. It is good for staff to be clear on their role and its scope, have a reasonable workload and autonomy, and have the job be a good fit for their skills. To assist you to ensure the structure of a role and responsibilities for staff, support them and ensure individual alignment to job fit, you can consider the following checklist in the drop-down menu below.
