What to do if you see or experience concerning behaviour
If you see, experience or hear about concerning behaviour, we encourage you to report it. But if you just want some advice and support, that’s ok too – we and our dedicated Respect Adviser Network are here to help you in any way we can.
Gender-based violence and sexual harm
Gender-based violence and sexual harm cover a range of sexual misconduct, including sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking and any other form of unwanted contact of a sexual nature.
If you’ve experienced gender-based violence or sexual harm, it’s not your fault and you’re not alone. There’s no right or wrong way to deal with it – you should do what feels right for you. If you’d like to reach out for help, advice or support, there are lots of internal and external services available. We can also help you make a report if that’s what you’d like to do.
We don’t tolerate sexual misconduct by Monash students or staff, and all disclosures and reports of sexual misconduct are managed in accordance with the Sexual Harm Response Procedure (pdf) and the Sexual Harm Response Schedule (Monash University Indonesia) (pdf).
For more information, go to our pages on sexual harm and gender-based violence.
