The
campus has developed a range of research seminars
aimed at staff and students, but also open to the general
community. The seminars cover a variety of discipline areas
and will be held on a monthly basis.

The
Peninsula campus recently coordinated a Health and Wellbeing
Research forum to explore ways to foster and develop
university and community connections in addressing issues of
mutual interest and concern.

Work
is continuing on the development of the
Frankston Regional Aquatic Health and Wellness Centre.
The development of the centre will not only provide a
valuable focal point for research but will also assist the
local community by providing a top class health and
recreation facility in
the region.

the development of new courses in Health Science/Social
Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology and
Sport and Outdoor Recreation there is increased potential
for postgraduate study opportunities and PhD research
projects.
