Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy
At Monash, your mental health matters to us. We are committed to advancing the mental health and wellbeing of our students and staff in support of a healthy University community.
We recognise many factors and influences in achieving good mental health. We provide many ways in which you can be educated on the signs and symptoms of mental illness, and develop strategies to enhance your individual and our collective wellbeing.
Building on decades of practice, our Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy empowers you to lead a life of sound psychological and emotional health.
When we are all equipped to thrive, we can create lasting impact together. Our approach to mental health and wellbeing has support across the entire University, endorsed by our executive sponsors at the highest levels.

The Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy is underpinned by data, evidence, and evaluation. Multiple stakeholders across the University play a part. The success of these efforts depend on the quality of student and staff experience, as well as student retention.
