Planning
Don’t just jump in and start writing. Without a plan, your best prose might end up on the cutting room floor.
So before you start, ask yourself:
- What are you writing and why?
- Who are your readers? What do they need? What do they want?
- Who will create, review, edit, and approve your content?
Instead of thinking of publishing content as a linear process (write > edit > publish), think of it as a lifecycle (write > edit > publish > review > repeat).
Time spent on planning pays off when it comes to editing and reviewing. This section explains how to plan a publication.
