Biomedical Learning and Teaching Building
A state of the art learning hub for the Clayton campus
The Clayton campus's new Biomedical Learning and Teaching Building will create a vibrant learning environment. Delivered over five levels of the most pedagogically advanced, world-class biomedical learning and learning spaces, the building is a physical demonstration of Monash's commitment to Education Innovation.
The building contains four ‘flexi labs’ – adaptive learning environments each accommodating 240 students with world-leading AV speaker and video technology, enabling interdisciplinary sharing of spaces and ideas.
Construction commenced in late 2017. The Biomedical Learning and Teaching Building opened in early 2019.
Repositioning the Medicine precinct
The Biomedical Learning and Teaching Building reinvents the Medicine precinct as an accessible, connected and dynamic student and staff oriented learning environment.
The transformation of the southern precinct is in line with the Clayton Campus Masterplan's vision of developing a vibrant and inviting campus.
