Why is the whole campus not brightly lit?

It is neither practical nor desirable to light large landscapes in their entirety. We aim for a balanced outcome that considers both your safety and the ecological implications of light. Flooding natural spaces with bright light harms local wildlife. Instead, we focus on lighting the primary pathways, building entrances and car parks that students use most.
