Community Model for Climate Resilience

The Monash Indonesia Research Office (MIRO) has welcomed three new Assistant Professors (Research) for the 2023 Koneksi Project, which focuses on building climate resilience in eastern Indonesia.

The project, titled 'Building a Model of Future-proofing for Climate Resilience by Engaging Communities (MoFCREC),' aims to support vulnerable communities, including people with disabilities, diverse women, and older people, through deep community engagement and co-designing resources.

The onboarding session was co-led by Dr Alex Lechner, with participation from Dr Ika Idris, Dr Sabina Puspita, and Dr Eka Permanasari, among others.
