Innovative AI projects in education by Monash University

Monash University's Hub for Educational Design and Innovation (HEDI) and Monash Tech School are leading innovative projects to enhance quality education through AI technology:

  • The ATLAS AI-Tool, developed by HEDI and led by Dr Jo Blannin and Dr Joel Moore, has been shortlisted for the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2024. It uses AI to provide personalised feedback, benefiting over 1,000 students across five countries and setting new standards in professional education.
  • The 'Reimagining the Future of AI in the Education Ecosystem' project, supported by a Monash AI Institute seed grant, explores AI integration in schools, involving students from Glen Waverley and Wheelers Hill Secondary Colleges in scenario-building exercises to envision future educational landscapes.
