Respect at Uni Week

About Respect Week

Respect Week is part of a sector-wide campaign, aimed at promoting a culture of respect, inclusion, and equality to prevent gender-based violence and sexual harm on campus and in our communities.

Join us for Respect Week at Monash to learn about how you can help make our university experience safer for everyone. This week-long campaign is an opportunity to learn about Monash's commitment to preventing and responding to sexual harm, identify learning opportunities and support services.

We were joined by Dr Sally Lai of Power2SelfProtect (P2SP) for the Women's Empowerment Self Defence workshops.

Power2SelfProtect (P2SP) is an empowerment self-defence program designed to provide a range of evidence-based tools to empower, educate and equip women with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, avoid and defend against threats to their physical safety and well-being.

Trophy Boys is coming to Monash!

Described as a queer black comedy about power, privilege and high school debating, Trophy Boys opens up a playful interrogation of normative masculinities. It explores experiences of sexism and misogyny within education settings and invites reflective dialogue across our communities as part of the Respect at Monash initiative.
